I don’t really feel like writing in here today. I don’t know why. But then again, I don’t really feel like doing much of anything today. I had a very productive morning, and now, I’m in a mid-afternoon lull.
Christmas was excellent. So was New Year’s. Everybody is well and happy from what I could tell, so that’s great. It went by so quickly. In some ways it felt like a dream, as if it didn’t happen. Coming back here was like being in the twilight zone – no snow, and plus 12. Wow. It wasn’t this warm last January. I guess Mother Nature is making up for a very cold December, as far as BC Decembers go.
Other than that, it’s back to work, back to school and, among other things, trying to figure out what to do this coming school year. Going home for Christmas gave me many more ideas, so I now need to filter them all and decide what’s wishful thinking, what’s just a whim, and what is actually a possibility. We’ll see.
Did you make resolutions? I did. I always do. I’ve decided that eating healthier, exercising more, etc. are not good resolutions. Those are things that a person should really only do gradually. Otherwise, you jump in, trying to make all of these big changes, only to get overwhelmed by all of these extra things on your “To Do” list. So, my resolutions are about helping other people, and doing more of the things that I want to do. And, since I want to get out and do more fun things, I think I’m going to check out a movie this afternoon. Why not?
Oh, and Happy New Year everybody!
