So, I have 7 of 10 pages finished on my Laurier/Boer War paper, and haven’t even started my Western alienation paper. But it’s only Tuesday. LOTS of time, right? I’m getting a little worried…
Last night I went to Walmart to get some ink for my printer. I ended up staying there for an hour and a half, visiting with various people. I went to visit Lindsay, then went with her on her break, and then Tanya had a break, so I stayed and chatted with her. Then I played some football with the boys in sporting good – yes, we throw a football around the store – and then some customers started verbally attacking each other, so I had to phone a manager. I wasn’t working, and yet I took care of the store. I’m such a good employee.
I went for academic advising for Political Science today – what a joke. I waited an hour for them to look through my program monitor form for one minute, sign it, sign my request to take a 400-level class form – that’s it. I’m not sure what happens with history. I have to look into it. But, it looks like this little plan of mine to finish in two years might not happen. I’ll probably have to take some spring/summer, maybe even one more fall semester. We’ll see.
And now I need to get back to my essays. They’re not going to write themselves on their own.
Listening to and love:
Brian McKnight – ‘Anytime,’ ‘Back at One’
Carrie Underwood – ‘Wasted’
Anna Netrebko – ‘E Strano!’
Carolyn Dawn Johnson – ‘Taking Back My Brave,’ ‘Thinkin’ Things’
Joan Sutherland – ‘Depuis le jour’
Jason Aldean – ‘Amarillo Sky,’ ‘Why’
Jennifer Hudson – ‘And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going’
P.S. This is post #300 – Happy 300th to me!
